Classical Kids Music Education seeks to significantly improve access to integrated, quality arts education as well as foster the belief in the importance of arts education as an essential part of a high-quality education. The majority of costs associated with our projects and resources needed to maintain our programs are made possible by charitable contributions. Through the generosity of supporters like you, Classical Kids Music Education is able to create extraordinary productions that captivate, educate, and inspire audiences as well as develop new arts education programming and collaborative initiatives that will further enrich the lives of children and benefit their communities.
CKME’s goals are challenged by a general decline in funding for both music education and symphony orchestras at local, state, and national levels. To make collaboration more affordable, concert series performances are produced at-cost, which leaves little revenue for hiring new staff members, creating development programs, or funding new productions and educational materials. Despite a lack of access to resources, CKME’s staff, board members, and volunteers have worked diligently to expand and enhance its offerings while creating frameworks for development and growth.
