Classical Kids Music Education OUR MISSION: To captivate, educate, enrich and inspire young people through the power of music - to help raise attainment and motivate young people through music’s unique contribution to whole school development and community regeneration – to build pathways for progression in music so that all young people, whatever their background or abilities, have access to the rich and diverse range of influence music offers. Classical Kids Music Education, NFP was formed for charitable and educational purposes to contribute to the education and quality of life of children and their parents across cultural and economic boundaries. CKME is currently developing a wealth of new works, projects, and collaborative ideas. Our project vision includes a national educational outreach project whereby music curriculum materials are supplied directly to the classroom of underserved communities and a national community engagement project whereby struggling orchestras are provided financial assistance to provide quality family and educational programming. Other projects include new collaborations with outstanding youth orchestras in North America, a nationally touring interactive musical museum exhibit, and a Chicago based music education arts center providing music classes and hosting community events as well as serving as home to its own youth orchestra and children’s chorus. Sadly, exciting projects like these are threatened because music education is increasingly under-funded. It is imperative that organizations like Classical Kids are able to reach students and families through excellent music education programs in a time when affordable and worthy programming is lacking. There are numerous significant funding opportunities available. Recognition can be customized to maximize a donor's goals for association, visibility, development, and civic support of the arts.
